Prior to her career in acupuncture, Soo attended Baruch College, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting, after which she spent 18 years in Corporate America. Soo’s corporate experience entrenched her in a non-stop lifestyle that created stress, imbalance, and disease in herself and many around her. Through meditation and reflection, Soo left her career in finance and pursued traditional medicine, a practice embedded in the traditions of her homeland of Korea.

Soo graduated as a Doctor of Acupuncture from the Pacific College of Health and Science and now practices in New Jersey. She was trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Five Element Acupuncture, and Kiiko Matsumoto’s Japanese-style acupuncture while attending the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine, where she graduated as a Licensed Acupuncturist. She is also a licensed herbalist in NJ and practices Chinese herbal medicine which is an integral component of Chinese medicine as a whole. Soo is further certified in the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture System™️, which specializes in rejuvenating the face and neck.
